what is givi?

Special parts for Tricity 300

There are few parts specifically for the Tricity 300, but GIVI makes a large screen and knuckle guards. I bought the screen because I needed it. The reason I bought it is because I am an average Japanese height of 171 cm and a normal screen would have just stressed me out.

How to remove the normal screen

First remove the screen cover. After turning the hexagon in the picture below slightly, you can remove it by hand.

There is a pawl as shown in the image, which is carefully removed from the screen.

Remove the bolt with an Allen key on the other side too.

The screen is held in place by the four bolts shown in the picture, use a Phillips screwdriver to remove these bolts.

If you remove it in good steps, there is no such stress. Don’t worry, if you do it carefully, you won’t get any scratches or cracks.

Install immediately. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure, using a Phillips screwdriver to install the four bolts.

I did a bit of running and the wind was completely different! I was amazed. Plus the visibility was better and less stressful. Another good thing was that the mobile phone holder was not in the wind, which reduced the sway. This made me happy.
I haven’t gone far yet, but not being exposed to the wind is a big advantage because I feel tired differently.
